Mountain rescue teams across the UK were out supporting the emergency services as the Beast From The East and Storm Emma left many arterial roads impassable, drivers stranded and essential health service staff without transport.
All teams in Mountain Rescue England and Wales are made up entirely of volunteers and receive no public funding. Please take a moment to find your local team, like and follow their pages, and if you're able, consider donating to help support them.
Thank you.
